Wow. As the refreshing breezes of dry season rustle through the palm branches, the winds of my life have seemed to pick up pace and have become a whirlwind of frenzy. Days disappear, weeks fly by and the weekends are hardly long enough to speak of. But, amidst all the flurry, there's always something to keep life interesting, beautiful, real. God never ceases to bless me and all the others on this little rock in the middle of no where!

Here are some pictures to sum up the happenings of the past 2 weeks...

I took my class down to read to the students at the preschool. Everyone had a wonderful time. It was fun to watch my students trying to act grown up and responsible as they were working with the little ones.

We've been having Joint Worship down at the church every Friday due to the influx of ESL students during Winter School. Before worship starts, the kids have to wait out in the back yard of the church.

Last Sabbath, we took the youth down to Forbidden Island. Some of them, even though they've lived here their whole lives, had never been there before!!! We had a great time!
John was "talking" to one of the crabs, asking it to come out of its shell.

This is one of my favorite parts of the hike down to Forbidden.....it's considered Savannah, but it kinda reminds me of the prairies back home.As the sun was setting, we had a lot of fun taking these "jumping" photos.

Later that night, we went out for crepes at a quaint little crêperie. Yum!
Last Sunday we went diving at Lau Lau Bay. It was a great dive and we saw some amazing things! Pictures are compliments of the Piersons. Thanks!

Last night (Saturday night), Dr. Ken brought his telescope down to Ladder beach so Ms. Judith's science class could look at the stars. We had a nice sundown worship before looking at the stars. It was such an amazing way to end the Sabbath.

We were huddling close to "keep warm" - well, not really, there was only a slight breeze, but we just love each other that much!

Now.... it's late Sunday night - the weekend is over once again, with a new week ahead of me. There will be ups and downs, unexpected curve balls around every corner, but at the end of the week, it'll all be worth it! Have a great one!
