When Two Become One.....
"It is not good for man to be alone" because "two are better than one." (Gen.2:18, Ecc.4:9)
On the first day of first grade, Shandi and I became fast friends. We were both small, shy, and looking for a friend - we found each other. From then on, we were practically inseparable. Even at a young age we would dream and talk for hours about what our wedding would be like one day. Almost every time we talked about it, there was some new or different detail to be added, but there was one thing that never changed - we would be both be in the other's wedding.
This past Sunday, those dreams finally came true.... at least for her! :) The morning started early as we ran around town getting our hair and make-up done, picking up the dresses and flowers, and then finally heading down south to the little town of Kaleden to where the wedding and reception would be held in a beautiful, lush garden. There were minor glitches (like one of the best men bringing the wrong suit!) and a few hiccups (like a major traffic accident holding up traffic between us and the gardens), but other than that, everything went smoothly and it was a beautiful wedding!

The 3 of us have been friends together.... and it was so nice to be able to share this day with them!

Ana (the other bridesmaid) and I took some of our own pictures while the reception was being set up.

And the bride was showing that just because she was married now doesn't mean she can't have fun anymore!
Shandi & Rob - I wish you the very best in all the years to come. I pray that your marriage will be as beautiful and perfect as your wedding was! God bless!

The bride finding out there was an accident delaying traffic.
