Los Cuatro Locos

With time being short, we've been trying to pack in as many memories as we can. So Sunday morning, despite the wispy clouds and the cool temperatures, we decided to hit the beach! Hence the title - los cuatro locos (the four crazies!). The hour and a half drive to the coast was enjoyable as we laughed, talked, shared, and discussed various Bible questions.

As soon as we arrived, we went straight to the beach. We played a little in the water, up to our knees, because it was cold and decided that we should wait until after eating to jump in so we wouldn't be wet and cold the rest of the day. Erick was having none of that - he stripped down to his shorts and jumped in right away!Although the wind was cold, it sun still warmed our faces as we walked and walked and walked down the beach. There's nothing like having sand beneath your feet, the smell of salt in the air, and being surrounded by good friends and deep conversation. It was great!
After eating, we headed back to the beach to hang out. By that time it was already almost 4 pm and the sun was drooping low in the sky. We realized that if we were gonna get in, it would need to be soon. It was all or nothing - so we raced towards the waves without a second thought. Erick didn't want to get in again and Virginia was happy to watch from shore, so Andrew and I were the only crazies frolicking in the waves. We quickly found that it was a lot warmer to stay under the water, but eventually we had to get out and I didn't fully warm up until I got back home and took a hot shower! But the memories were worth being cold for a while!

A beautiful end to a beautiful day

We might be crazy...... but most of all, we're just crazy about God!!!
