Erawan Falls
Our last day in Kanchanaburi was Sabbath, and we spent the day out at Erawan Falls. It was such a beautiful and peaceful place to pass the Sabbath! There are 7 tiers or "steps" to the waterfalls and we hiked all the way up to the top before stopping to swim at almost all of them on the way down.

These are just the little fish, and even they bit a little hard sometimes.... the big ones didn't come to close, thankfully!

We had such a great time hiking, swimming and enjoying God's nature on His beautiful Sabbath day!!!
The sign at the beginning of the trail...

#2 is where most people hang out because you can't take food or drink beyond this point to try to protect the park against littering. It was pretty crowded so we didn't swim here too long.

#3 was less crowded and fun to just hang out in.

A couple pictures between #3 and #4

#4 was fun! We loved sliding down the natural "waterslides"!!

We didn't swim in #5 because the fish looked too big!!! There are fish in all the pools that come nibble on your feet to eat away dead skin (sounds gross, eh?), but the fish in #5 looked like they'd eat more than just dead skin!!! So we only stuck our feet in for a while to get a good pedicure before moving on.

We had #6 completely to ourselves. It was nice, until Andrew slipped (while holding my camera), and hit his head pretty hard (but my camera was okay!). His head is okay too.

On the way up to #7...... The last stretch of the trail is a little bit difficult. Most people don't go all the way to the top, so it's a little overgrown in areas.

The water at the top (#7) was so blue and almost chalky as it was so rich with minerals! All the rocks under the water were completely white, covered in minerals.
