Last Day

We spent our last day in Thailand hanging out in Bangkok. We did a few of our favorite things for the last time - eating "i-teem ga-tii" (thai coconut ice cream), drinking "cha yen" (thai ice tea), perusing the streets of Bkk, and eating at Rawsayana Raw food restaurant. But we also did a few new things - riding the subway, catching the view from the Baiyoke tower (Bkk's tallest building....87 floors), and riding the river taxi. It all made for a great, last day in Thailand!! Here's a couple picutres from that last day.....

Victory Monument - a major landmark in Bkk - it was cool to look down on it for a change rather than to look up to it!

On one of the upper levels of the building, there were some fun picture taking spots.....

The very top of the building had a revolving platform. It was fun to watch from up there the storms approaching on 3 different sides.

When it started to rain, we enjoyed watching the storm from inside while sipping pineapple juice.

I took this photo of the river taxi earlier in the day when we decided we wanted to ride one, and it was a good thing, because by the time we were ready to head home, it was pouring so heavily and the river was very rough, but it was a fun experience!
