The City of Hearts

It may not be known as the "City of Love" but after spending the weekend in San Francisco with my friend Bev, I think I'll always remember it as the "City of Hearts." It's such a fun and beautiful place with hearts all over the city.


Bev took me on a great tour of the city! We headed out around 9 in the morning with apple strudel and hot drink of choice in hand.

This is one of the original (reconstructed) buildings that was built for the 1915 (?) Expo.

Of course, the Golden Gate Bridge.....

We drove down Haight Street.....

.....and stopped to see the Painted Ladies

We had lunch down town. We enjoyed Jasmine Iced Tea while we waited for our sandwiches.

We drove down Lombard street - the world's crookedest street.

And we drove up to Coit Tower to get a 360 degree view from the top (that's Columbus!)

And it wouldn't be a complete tour of San Francisco without a cable car ride!!

On Sabbath afternoon, we tried to recreated the good times from Saipan by relaxing in hammocks at the beach.....but it didn't really work because it was COLD!!!

....but we had a great view of the Bridge!!

Our last evening together, we enjoyed "Pizza Orgasmic" ....the original sin! ;)

.....It really was yummy!!

Thank Bev & Greg for opening your home to me and showing me around the city! I had such a great time!!!
