I ran across 50 Lessons Life Taught Me by Regina Brett and found some valuable insights, so I thought I'd share it here. I've added my own thoughts/comments/etc. in italics. Read. Soak it up. Enjoy. Take it for what it's worth. :)

  4. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.

  5. Pay off your credit cards every month. This I do! :D

  6. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree. Haha, still learning this one! I'd probably learn it a lot quicker if I lost more often! ;)

  7. Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone. Still learning this one too.....

  10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.

  11. Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present. Yeah..... and not repeating the mistakes of the past helps too!

  12. It's okay to let your children see you cry. My 'children' are my students, but....... they've never seen me cry. I'm just not there yet.

  13. Don't compare your life to others'. You have no idea what their journey is all about. Learning about other peoples' journey is the key to compassion.
